The overall goal of our programs is to work together with participants as new health-promoting skills are introduced. Then coach and support them while they practice and gain confidence in their own ability to manage their health and weight.
We focus on several important areas:
Making big changes alone is challenging so the participant-coach relationship is key. Attending weekly sessions, gaining awareness about personal behaviors, and having support between sessions can move participants in healthy directions.
The goal of this program is rapid weight loss prior to a medical procedure.
The goal of this program is to intervene with adolescents with a BMI of 35+ or a medical diagnosis that is negatively impacted by their weight.
